International Couple Assumptions 2 •• Moving in w/ My Korean Boyfriend *DISASTER 1 day ago   16:35

Here we answer your assumptions submitted via YouTube - they were generally a little heavier and lended themselves to more talking, but hopefully you stick with us until the end 💕

For those who are new, my boyfriend Andy is Korean, and I am American. We met in 2016 while I was studying abroad in Seoul, then embarked on a 2 year long distance relationship journey! We were reunited permanently in August, and just moved in together about a month ago!

It's fun to see what other people assume of us, especially other international couples! And as always, thank you everyone for being as great as you generally are 💕

I can’t believe his English!!!! He’s still so cute hahaha (baby) your very lucky! This is good content!

Not to be nosy or rude, but is Andy his real name? 😮 I work with Korean students, and in English class they usually choose an English name.

My assumption: Andy is a Virgo or Capricorn. Secondly, no matter where you live, biracial kids are challenged by belonging. They don’t feel fully accepted by either of their cultures.

The assumption about raising your kids in the USA, really hit home for me. My son is half Asian and American and so he looks Asian (small eyes, facial structure, and very straight hair) but is blonde, green eyed, and very pale like me. And we still get a couple looks when we go out as a family, especially with the current political environment and even that urks me soul I can't imagine my son getting bullied for being mixed another great video ! I feel like we got to really know the type of people you are. ❤

Also I just noticed your arm cast is gone! So glad your hand is doing better!

This is the longest of Andy's speaking I've ever watched! For me as a poor Korean student who studies English, I wanna know how Andy studied to speak English.

I love this aha, you're both so cute and these assumptions are so interesting to hear ~ I'm in an LDR with my boyfriend. He's also Korean and I'm from the UK. Seeing you guys and watching your videos makes me positive seeing that people can actually survive doing LDR!! (I only ever see negativity surrounding it and i've gotta admit the thought of waiting 6 months to see my BF each time is pretty daunting). Thank you ^.^

First failed experience is really interesting as a couple. Boyfriend and I went to Montreal in November and it was a big disappoint for a lot of reasons. But. Good thing that came out of it, boyfriend has fallen in love with travel. And we learned how to make the next trip better.

Even if the day trip did fail, I can't wait for you next vlog Rachel!! 💕💕💕

Is divorce that common and seemingly(?) easy in the US? In Ireland, you need to be living seperately for five years/different houses. So you need to keep record of all your bills and letters and other documents for at least five once the DECISION of divorce is made. I think it's because just in case the couple reconcile, it's so messy to nullify a divorce in general and lawyers and the courts don't want to go through something so hectic AGAIN.

Andy can call watching someone play. "Watching let's plays" if he didn't know the term.

Teaching them Spanish as well would be really useful if they grow up in the states.
Victoria Morgan
Scars on his hands?! :O that's awful.
Victoria Morgan
Yea a kid shouldn't stay up until 10PM. I don't blame you guys.
Victoria Morgan
Aahh you did mine first! :)

I also intend to teach my kid(s) Korean and English. However, I also speak French, German and Irish and a bit of Spanish so I don't want them to be just bilingual. I personally think that languages are an 'underrated' field to go into. Everyone praises the STEM courses, but not enough credit to languages, which is what keeps the bridges open between other nations.

Moving in w/ My Korean Boyfriend *DISASTER International Couple Assumptions 2 •• 1 day ago   16:44

What a memorable first night in our new Seoul apartment!!!!
Andy and I have officially moved into our new apartment together, and we are so happy and so comfortable and we have already cooked so many meals and made so many home plans and we are nesting so super well 💕

My "maybe fractured" pinky finger is much better now, and I use it freely but cautiously at home. I still wear the cast in public, as I have zero spatial awareness and just today accidentally slammed my hand into a chair, so to prevent further damage or even re-damaging something, public cast wearing is still appropriate 😅
