The Daninator
This is the first in a series of videos that I'm creating comparing four popular Cherry Bomb® mufflers on all of my vehicles.

This video compares the sound of the Glasspack, Turbo, Vortex and Extreme Cherry Bomb® mufflers. I do a series of accelerations and one long uphill acceleration to record the "drone" sound inside of the cab of the truck.

Let me know in the comment section below which of the four mufflers you think sounds the best on my 1999 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 with the 5.3L LM7 V8.

They need to bring back the old school Thrush straight through muffler. That was the most amazing sounding muffler. Better than Cherry Bomb glasspacks.

Dude, i think this is better testing and sound footage than the manufacturers put out. Spot on review under every condition. And i live in cleveland, so the chief wahoo gets an extra point.

I'm running vortex on my 74 T/a with a 455 it has duals with long tube headers and 2 1/2 inch pipe from the collector back to the tail pipe with no cat just vortex mufflers and it sounds great way different then the truck and when I get on it sounds like straight pipe I like the Vortex the best out of the cherry bomb collection

What are you running headers or just factory manifold do you have a Cat in line or straight pipes with just a muffler all these things matter a engine with long tube headers will sound different to shorty headers to manifolds same goes if you have a cat inline to no cat

I used the Vortex on my Challenger 3.6 engine. It had a good deep sound and opened up good at full throttle.
I have a couple of videos on YouTube running them.
One a top speed run and the other a drive off and drive by sound.
