Talking about having a high instep is a very sensitive topic. I have always had one and my mom would take me to Buster Brown for new shoes so I was getting the best shoe for my feet. But, for some reason, the shoes always hurt. I always felt guilty of complaining about my feet since the fit couldn't be wrong when done by an expert "podiatrist" shoe salesman. One day, we were going on a field trip to the Bronx Zoo. I wanted to dress up in my frilly dress and black patent leather shoes that weren't from the Buster Brown store. I had only worn them one other time and it was just for getting in and out of the car so they were never broken in. But maybe they just never fit me at all because that's how all my shoes felt even though they came from Buster Brown, the best shoe store in all of the world. And on this day at the Bronx Zoo, we walked everywhere. I loved the monkeys the best even though they were smelly. They were awfully cute. And the birds were pretty but they smelled worse than the monkeys. So we left the bird house and it was raining and my shoes got wet and they started to shrink and before I knew it, the shoes were cutting into my heels and making my feet bleed. And my socks were soaked and got black dye all over them. And when I could no longer walk, I started to cry and my teacher yelled at me to keep walking so I cried louder until she finally had to carry me the rest of the way to the bus. And I felt like "did I imagine that my feet were really cut and it's my fault for acting like a brat?" And when I got home, I was mad at my mom for letting me wear the shoes and the dress and the socks. Didn't she know my feet were gonna get all cut up? I was only 10 but it was all my fault.

If you believe in God than you have to believe the church of the world has been corrupted by evil, so when you support the active religions, you are supporting an evil system put in place by men of power to control large groups of humans.

Fantastic interview. Thanks gentlemen.

I like Stephen in this format better than his own show. He seems more sincere and not a one trick pony. I miss liking him.

Great guy - other than the old, disingenuous, trite tap dancing and dodging around simple questions about the primitive and silly beliefs of the Christian cafeteria of choice.

Colbert seemed so short compared to Holmes. Anyone know either's height?
Kimberly
Yes, the people love Meanwhile.

14:35 - "Pretty good" is an understatement from Stephen about his current work load. He does new shows Mondays thru Fridays, however Friday editions are always pre-taped on a Thursday alongside Thursdays edition, meaning Stephen gets Fridays off. 200 shows a year means roughly 10 weeks vacation breaks, so compared to normal people, along with a $15 million salary, Stephen is doing fantastic!

Men in their 50s have doctors? Might have to look into that.

Why did he reference hilary as being a lizard person @ 17:35? About the surface level thing?
humbletruth
Theres a grain of truth in every satire, hilary in fact is a lizard person 17:35
