Looking at his hair Dan did not only get shocked but also electrostatically charged. Can't say he wasn't harmed in the making of this (any?) video.

Попадала в человека, причем дважды, с первого раза он поднялся и прошел несколько шагов, после второго попадания молнии, он уже не поднимался; хотя поблизостм были высокие объекты, но в них молния не попала?

False: "Positively charged particles come to the top"
Correct would be: "The electrons are drained from the top" or "the positive CHARGE comes to the top"
Come on guys, you can do better than that!
Today's schoolkids (and adults too, unfortunately) are in need for physically correct answers more than ever.

If Dan used the back of his hand it wouldn't have hurt as bad, since it's over a larger surface area. Another fun trick is to stand on a raised platform to unground yourself, and put a hand on the generator and turn it on. It then makes you like the big dome and whatever you touch gets zapped.
