Watch Chris Harris slide a Z/28 around a race track on YouTube in the rain NO PROBLEM. Tom Albrecht "warns" about the tires when wet, like it's a reason NOT to buy a Z/28, but it's not true. The tires have grooves to expel water, just like other tires. And when the tires are cold, they do just fine - just not GREAT like when hot. I have one and I know from driving it. Buy a Z/28 and you will not regret it! Awesome car!

This car handles just fine in the rain. Just don't drive like an idiot. All the hype about how dangerous or how bad it is on the street is bull. Mine (2015 z/28) is just fine and I like it better than my 2008 Z06 - so I sold that and the Z/28 is now my daily driver. Add some light weight wheels and it most likely will be faster than the GT350R. Although many in family works for Ford (and I love the GT350R), I went with the Z/28 because of more torque (similar HP - on a Dino) and those non-fading brakes. For the price it can't be beat (especially since they dropped to the mid $50's). Oh yeah and they only made about 1700 of them so they will be rare. Especially if people drive like an idiot in the rain - LOL
