Walking around Little Italy Streets of Chinatown - New York City 1 day ago   24:17

Wind Walk Travel Videos
Located in Lower Manhattan, Little Italy and Chinatown are adjacent neighborhoods with Grand Street separating them. Though Little Italy only stretches few blocks and not as big as Chinatown, it's great to see and experience both worlds in the same area of New York.

This is what these communities have become in a nutshell. Once thriving ethnic enclaves with individual culture in the US now turned tourist destination for fat, ugly, pridless Americans, (A general statement about what the average American has slowly de-evolved into not a poke at these individual tourists.) Now in the bronx under 2% can trace their roots to Italy. China town has become the home of the China Town McDonalds rather than a thriving Chinese community that once valued the culture of their old country. I know living conditions use to horrid in these immigrant enclaves, but culturaly they definatly have declined over the past 65 years.

So empty..early morning? 10 am or so on a Sunday? That’s pretty much all of Little Italy but It would take 2 hours to walk through all of Chinatown..you walked through the main drag.

When you lived there since the 60s, no other city in the world comes close! Except maybe London, but there you cant see down the street, for more then three blocks!

Streets of Chinatown - New York City Walking around Little Italy 1 day ago   04:10

Chinatown, Manhattan is a neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, New York City, bordering the Lower East Side to its east, Little Italy to its north, Civic Center to its south, and Tribeca to its west. Chinatown is home to the largest enclave of Chinese people in the Western Hemisphere. With an estimated population of 90,000 to 100,000 people, Manhattan's Chinatown is also one of the oldest ethnic Chinese enclaves outside of China.
