HID Headlights: Are they Better than Best Aftermarket HID Kits on Amazon 2 months ago   15:08

Obviously a headlight housing that has integrated LEDs or Factory HIDs cannot be changed to have halogens or HIDs easily, but we can install LEDs and HIDs into headlights that have come standard with halogens. With that being said, which of the two is the better route? I have purchased the best HID and LED kits on the market with my own money to put the question to the test.

I am not being paid to sway one way or another, so you are going to be getting my honest opinion with the hopes to help you find some awesome headlight bulbs for your car! #KillAllHalogens

Good job!

Morimotos are very good. We sell and install a lot. Very very rare to have any issues at all. Also, GTR Lighting HIDs and LEDs are very nice. Same thing goes for GTR little to no issues at all and we've done tons. Just my opinion..

14:12 ''changing the bulbs or ballasts every year or so''
but this will blow-up your wallet, if this is true the i better stay on my xenon bulbs (Phillips-Osram etc)

Good LEDs are 100 bucks a pair. Not 50. These LEDs are average at best.

Hello!!
What is your opinion about halogen bulbs??
philips white vision or osram night breaker for instance..
Much cheaper, white colour and they last about 2 years each..

Dude this is cheap led and hid
If you want to make comparison you need led from auxbeam company wich is come with 6000k and 9000lum
And for the hid you must take original hid like “osram”bulbs and take the light control from “denso” or “hella”.
In the end you will find out that the hid is still the better option until the led coming with 360
Excuse my language please.

Driving in Michigan winters, will BOTH HID & LED bulbs generate enough thermal heat to melt show / ice off low-beam projector headlamp lenses, as the original OEM Halogen bulbs did (If the lens freezes over with snow/ice due to insufficient bulb thermal heat, does it really matter how many LUX, lumens or K the lamp is producing)? For those of you driving in warmer climates, please disregard my question, you are too fortunate.

Love it thanks for your help

but, isn't it that installing LEDs in originally the Halogen housing is not collecting/dispersing that light as efficient ? and making a too big of a glare for oncoming drivers ...

Save your money go buy top of the line halogens cost you like 50 60 bucks for a set of two be pretty much just as bright without the extra bullshit flickering and killing your alternator and battery
CrooKdLetter J
Your hids aren't even much brighter then your leds so your a goof lol my halogen are that bright
CrooKdLetter J
Hid headlights are for goofs blinding all the drivers on the road only people who suck at driving need hid or blind goofs who can't see shit and shouldn't be on the road anyways you also kill the battery on your car slowly and put strain on the alternator so you wanna have hid you need to do some upgrades they also flicker witch is annoying I admit I bought hid cause everyone was doing it but I switched back to halogen why cause it's way better and I'm not a blind goof and I know how to drive I don't need hi beams for low beams if I need hi beams ill just turn them on and really I only need it when not in the city cause who the fuck needs brights on the city oh yeah blind try hard goofs lol

Leaving my low beams stock. Leaving my fog lights stock. Doing my research to upgrade my high beams so i can fight back. I am so tired of douchebags who need their headlights to be brighter and brighter and brighter. Knock it off already. Thanks for the tips. ✌
