Water on dry ice would create the same effect

And if you don't have liquid nitrogene, drop a flake of sodium on water

Wait you can just randomly contact scientists?

if im not mistaken this can be achieve with liquid metal poured on dry ice

You are SO flirting with that gal !!

I did not understand the real world application of this. At all.

Isn't it exactly because of this effect that you're not supposed to wear gloves when handling liquid nitrogen? like if you spill it on your naked hand it'll bounce and won't cause burn (or rather, freeze), whereas if you spill it on clothes, it'll freeze the clothes and then move on to freeze the tissue underneath. Like the overclocker kingpin mentioned not wearing socks or long pants when handling liquid nitrogen during his OC runs.
Nanette Sage
I can't believe you actually went for that experiment without ANY KIND of eye protection whatsoever. I mean, you have not done this before and even though you totally trust the scientist that told you what you need to do, you STILL should be using eye protection. I am still shocked you don't start your process with "ok, before I do this, the most important thing to remember is Safety First". Then put on the proper equipment. The Eye Protection and Gloves in this case. I mean, come on. Even I saw that stuff pop a bit into a bunch of smaller bits. Who knows if something else might have happened.

the feel when no french scientist gf 😩
Mike Turner
That introduction between him and Dr. Gunther was cute. Clearly both were like "uh... hi, you're unexpectedly cute, um, right... science"
