The Spheres, Amazon's giant biodomes in downtown Seattle, allow employees to escape the office to work and brainstorm surrounded by nature. Take a tour with NBBJ architect John Savo as he shows off the features of the workspace, including a five-story living wall with 25,000 plants. i don't get i,t, are they trying to create a closed sealed productive ecosystem cycle environment powered by the sun; like earth, or a office workstation? if your going for a office desk job workspace with plants and trees go square to maximize space/area like ups, and put a closed sealed ecosystem cycle environment powered by the sun on top, because it would be too hot and muggy to work in a real self-sustained productive plant tree environment wearing silly office business suits and clothing.

We need biospheres throughout the world for the birds that would have traveled on their migratory routes to the burning Amazon. This is an enormous environmental crisis.

If you are more stressful they also roll the sphere around the NYC...😁😁😘

The Amazon version of Rivendell.
people's Architect
That Architecture is not very genuine. They are trying to build an environment that doesn't even belong to the surrounding, no natural cross ventilation, Oddly oriented softscape and hardscape. It's just a piece of marketing model , not Architecture

This isn't innovative or impressive. It's just grossly extravagant. Amazon should start paying taxes.

Apple finally killed off its promised wireless charger, which was meant to simultaneously power up an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods. With the help of Play-Doh, WSJ's Joanna Stern explains the technical hurdles to multi-device wireless charging, then recommends some OK-but-not-great alternatives.
