All Venetian and Roman cities: Ragusa, Spalato, Zara, Parenzo, Pola, Rovigno, Sebenico....and Croatians still hate us Italians who have given them some culture...

Did you visit Rijeka or Zadar?
When I was in Rijeka, had a full moon on the water
The drive from Zagreb to Rijeka (using the back roads) is well worth it

Zadar is definitely worth seeing as well
