I used to work in a reman factory and we reclassified denso parts as well as case new Holland and John Deere parts. Basically what we did with about 60 percent of them was buy pallets of parts from china, take them out of the Chinese box, remove Chinese labels, re label them with made in USA labels that said denso, case, John Deere on them and packaged them in fancy USA made boxes. So you're never really sure what you're getting even when buying big name brands. We were producing USA made parts that came from China lol

Hey Scotty, does the 10th generation (2018/2019 so far) Honda Accord 10 speed automatic transmission and 2.0L engine combo appear to be good stuff? Only about a year and a half of history. Whats your experience so far?

Where is the best and most decent price store you can go to

Is napa auto parts store any good
Deimos 009
Hes wacky. I don't know if I can trust him.

I always thought NAPA was too expensive, but after having been burned by every single other car parts store, I've run out of patience and willingly pay the significantly higher prices. I either buy NAPA, OEM, or I get it used from a junkyard (if it makes sense to do so)

The stores always accept returns on their defective parts, but I can never get my saturday back.

I'll never buy anything from rockauto again, too many problems to count. I had rebuilt brake calipers fail (an internal o ring failed) on their first trip. Sprayed brake fluid all over my tire, and damaged the paint on my fender. Good thing only one side was defective!

I've ended up with radiator hoses that failed weeks after installing them.

I bought a "duralast" alternator at autozone because of the lifetime warantee, and I've replaced it twice more in the last 5 years.

Worst experience I ever had was with an autozone timing belt kit. I finally got everything apart per the factory service manual and pull the water pump, only to see it looks absolutely nothing like the water pump that came in the box. Turns out the kit had the wrong water pump in the box, and the only other store that had one in stock was almost 50 miles away (and I had to drive out there to go get it, and pay them the difference in price).

Bought many auto parts from ebay, almost all my parts are from their and they always work. Amazon is ok, but usually ebay has the same item but cheaper
Margie
Be careful of counterfeit parts, oil, etc. Huge problem on eBay and Amazon now!

Rear window washer sprayer head OEM $24(YESS TWENTY FOUR) Ebay 2 for $1.49 works great.

I shop at autozone if I'm not driving it. I bought some brakes and an alternator for an old 2002 clunker Nissan Altima. I was trying to sell it. I HATE NISSANS.

Yeah if i need the part that day i will go to a local store but if i can wait a couple days for more expensive parts I'll get oem from the internet.
