THE MAGNUM
Imagine winning a free, all original, 1957 Plymouth Belvedere classic car with only 4 miles on the odometer that is interwoven with the local culture and heritage. Sounds amazing right? Ok here's the catch, the car doesn't run, is held together only by rust and mud, and has spent the last 50 years buried in a waterlogged concrete vault. Who put it there and why? Let's find out.

A bunch of fools overwhelmed by excitement fail to foresee water getting the the volt. The time capsule only revealed the mind set of those who lived then...

It could've been museumed or airtight bank-vaulted as someone else mentioned in this comment-section for the future instead of burying it..what a shame!!....

So if they left the car in a Wal-Mart parking lot instead for 50 years it would've been almost brand new.

I know a guy who buried his VW Thing car on his property. He got upset over how many times he had to repair it and buried it with his backhoe, lol. This was in the 80's.

My parents owned this model year car in red and white color combination. I remember riding with the windows down in the summer and getting very refreshed from the open window concept design. We also went camping with it and had good stories tell with a home made car top carrier my dad and I made. All good memoires of that car.
