I just can't take Trucks costing as much as a Corvette.

Those chrome rims are so hideous. This is not 1990s.
Dr ayy lmao
$50k+ truck and it doesnt have true navigation?? That to me is ridiculous! If im going to pay that much for a truck, I want it to at least have a map laid out for me, not that onstar crap

Who in the world would want that tiny ass bed?

This is a gorgeous truck don't get me wrong but paying more for painted bumpers doesn't make sense to me.

Are front 40/20/40 seats an option?

No Navigation?  My freaking Walkie Talkie has Navigation.  This irritates me... They put it in the SPARC, but my 2LT Equinox doesn't have it and the High Country doesn't have it.  EVERYONE is putting Navigation into it - WTF is wrong with Chevy?

What a beautiful truck. Was not even aware of the trim level above LTZ. Can't wait to see these on the road!

This is an amazing truck

Is it a true 4x4 system or an AWD setup like the GMC Denali?

Has the ECOtech version of the Corvette engine in it.  I thought the Suburban LTZ (my favorite SUV of them all and I'm not even a fan of SUVs) was pretty damn awesome, but this High Country package is encroaching on Caddy's territory for a lot less cash.

It rocks.

Beautiful truck

14 mpg? lol

Steve -- which of the high end half-ton trucks seem to be the best?  (This one, GMC Sierra Denali, Ford F-150 Limited, Toyota Tundra 1794, or Ram 1500 Laramie).

I'm amazed that so many people want to pay extra for a painted bumper... The chrome is so much easier to take care of over time, it doesn't chip like paint, it looks pretty BA when it's muddy, and it will be cheaper to replace. I feel like the high country trim should've been a package like the all star package, but then again I think GM really wants something to compete against all these other "tough western styled named" trucks, but this one just doesn't seem special like Ram's or Ford's western trims.

Today I take the redesigned 2014 Chevy Silverado (the mechanical twin to the GMC Sierra) out on the road. Join me as I talk engines, fuel economy, towing, hauling and pit the Chevy against the Ford and RAM trucks. Stay tuned for the 2014 RAM 1500 review in the next few weeks.
