uber is overvalued like bitcoin in 1/2018.

Since I use Uber daily whether it be to commute to work, eat out or hang out with friends I might invest in it to become rich off of it :D

If I was an early investor in either of these two companies I would want to go public as well.I'd want to be cashed out before the market realized that both companies are unsustainable. The volatility of these two stocks will be a traders dream.

I'll go with Uber.

It doesn't matter. When Tesla comes out with their autonomous ride-sharing fleet, both Uber and Lyft will be obliterated!!
Positive Investing
There's a lot to really dive into for the Lyft IPO... I did summarize this in a recent video. I personally will NOT be investing in Lyft (those financials are spooky)
Leggo My Ego
I don't understand how they're not profitable. They have no real capital costs, they're simply an app that functions as a middle man and takes a ridiculous percentage of the fares.

Right out of the gate, Lyft offers a larger runway for returns because they are a smaller company without the massive valuation of Uber. Since both of these companies are still in a growth- at- all- costs phase, investors will flock to the company that can grow their top line at a higher multiple. Both are fantastic companies, but the long term winner will come from who can turn an autonomous fleet of vehicles into a profitable model. On that note, watch out for Waymo (Google).

Uber is going bigger than Lyft

Is there a none of the above option? Both of these companies are overvalued cash burners, with very little relative growth to create profitability!

The Best Stuff We Saw at CES 2019 Uber vs. Lyft IPO: The Race 2 days ago   03:20

CES is the world’s biggest show-and-tell. Companies bring their quirkiest and most ambitious projects—good, bad or insane. We may never buy any of it, but we go to Vegas to get hints about the future, as WSJ’s David Pierce discovered while wandering the vast convention halls.
