Knicks are now ahead of Lakers and Celtics Should Zion threaten the Pelicans 1 day ago   05:31

ESPN
Rachel Nichols, Brian Windhorst and Richard Jefferson react to the 2019 NBA draft lottery, and discuss whether the fates of the New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns and Chicago Bulls -- with the New Orleans Pelicans, Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers all moving up -- means this is the end of tanking. They then (2:22) discuss what the lottery and arrival of Zion Williamson mean for the Anthony Davis trade discussions, with Windhorst saying the Knicks and their potential package of (presumably) RJ Barrett, Dennis Smith Jr., Kevin Knox, Mitchell Robinson and picks bests the Los Angeles Lakers' potential offer (involving Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart), and the Boston Celtics (Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart and more).

Knicks are not doing that

Not worth getting AD now since he will be a 1 year rental. The Knicks should just draft RJ Barrett and pair him up with a big free agent in the summer. RJ is NBA ready.

Why does Brian Windhorst have steak on his mind all the time?

AD is not the second coming. good player but being way way overrated.
RogueStormKnight
I hate trades, it always destroys a team more than benifits

other than the 3rd pick, how can the knicks offer the pelicans a better offer than the lakers? the 4th pick, khuzma, josh hart, lonzo ball, and inghram along with couple of 1st rounders is better than what ny can offer new orleans
Devin Bardot
We get it, Brian, you love food.

If the Pelicans owner doesnt want AD on the Lakers he isnt going to the Lakers lmao 😂😂

Knicks Bulls and Suns: Genuinely bad

Olaseni Adekunle

Knight Blade
The media is so biased.

Tanking is not gone , Pelicans who tanked in second half of season got no1 pick and team like Hawks , Suns, Cavs who are actually bad did not get any top picks. The new system might be trash.

HAWKS are making playoffs in the east next year.
3 teams jumped up so ofc the other teams all slide down 3.
After top 3 picks, the draft has a lot of talent and steals. Gluck to all.
Rogelio Garcia
The media just won't stop, WOW!!!!

The Knicks trade DSJr, the 3rd pick, and a future pick to Memphis for the 2nd pick. The Knicks then trade the 2nd pick, knocks, and Robinson for A.D. of course there will have to be some tweaks to make the money work but I think this works perfectly for all three teams. Pelicans and Memphis have all the pieces to become a future dynasty. The Knicks immediately become one for the next 4 years if and when they get big name free agents this summer as a result of these trades.

Damon Jones, Sean Farnham and Mike Greenberg react to Brian Windhorst’s take on Zion Williamson using his leverage to avoid being drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans if he so chooses.
